JIM TOSTRUD'S WILDLIFE VISIONS IS JUST AS IT SOUNDS. VISIONS JIM HAD WITNESSED FIRSTHAND IN THE OUTDOORS.
Jim grew up in the Midwest with a love for the outdoors. As a young boy, Jim found his love of Art and has come a long way since then. He had many people who mentored and guided him into the outdoors and encouraged him with his God-given talents in art.
Over the years Jim has become nationally renowned for his wildlife art, but he has also done so many other things with his art talents over his career. He has done many drawings and illustrations for books and magazines, logos, and packaging designs for different companies in the outdoors industry.
Jim is an avid outdoorsman and has been a hunting and fishing guide for many years. He loves sharing the outdoors experience with others, be it in the woods or on the water, or through his art. Jim says that as an observer of what he witnesses in the outdoors, he gets inspiration for his art.

Jim has done numerous portraits, both people and pets. He's done the art of planes, trains, and automobiles. You want it drawn, good chance Jim can bring it to life with pencil and paper. With that said he is always drawn back to his love and passion for the outdoors and doing art from nature.

He says his goal is to capture a moment in time in the outdoors and bring it back to life on canvas or paper for others to enjoy. Jim feels that through his art he can share his love and passion for the outdoors with others, even if they haven't been able to experience it themselves.
